March 20, 2010 hike details
In March we will be hiking in Jack London Historic State Park. As a bonus, you will have the opportunity to participate in the photo contest which is part of the JL 50th Year Anniversary Celebration...so bring your camera! There will be numerous photo ops to capture spring wildflowers, panoramic landscapes and old buildings, what could be better! The hike will be a moderate, 6 miles round trip, with minimal elevation gain. We depart at 10:30 sharp (this park opens at 10:00) and we should finish before 2:30. Please bring adequate footwear, water, and a snack. Meet in the right parking lot just inside the main gate.
