February 6th, 2010 hike details
We will be hiking the Kortum Trail from Wright's Beach to Goat Rock and back. The hike is moderate, 7.6 miles round trip, with minimal elevation gain. We depart at 9:30 sharp and hike rain or shine. We will finish before 1:30. Please bring adequate footwear, water, and a snack. Trail head is at Wright's Beach. Please park in the dirt lot on the bluff to the right of the entrance. No fee. Facilities at beach. Going North on Hwy 1, Wright's Beach turnoff is about 7.6 miles north of Bodega Head. See you there! Hikes are FREE.
