Sugarloaf Ridge State Park
Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is an absolute jewel of a park located in Sonoma County. This rugged park is popular mainly with hardy hikers and offers breathtaking views for those that make the climb. Nestled in the mountains off of Highway 12, the park is comprised of 4,900 acres and can be wonderfully quiet. It features a diverse range of wildflowers and flowering shrubs throughout the year as well as a wide variety of wildlife. As always, our hikes will provide you with a few tidbits of history and we will explore the wildflowers and animals we find along the trail...maybe a little geology too.
